On Saturday last we put up a great performance to beat Ballygawley Celtic in a friendly game played at The Showgrounds. The showery conditions didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of our young players who played with great heart. Goals from Eoin McLoughlin, Conor McGoldrick, Thomas Harden and Eoin Lyons made it 4-0 at half time. Ballygawley hit back with a goal before Dylan Regan made it 5-1.  Two late strikes for Ballygawley left a respectabel look to the scoreline.
Well done to all players as we await our next league game. We have no game this weekend. Players will be notified of next game.
Thanks to referee Paddy McGreevy, to Mickey Martin and Deasun Lyons who helped with lining the pitch for the game. Training continues on Thursdays from 5.45 to 7 p.m.
